Camp rules
Campsites
Please keep your site clean and orderly. Please respect others’ campsites by not walking through their sites.
Children
Parents should supervise their children at all times. Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when using the restrooms.
Children should avoid riding bikes, trikes, or skateboards on the sidewalks or roads near the offices, as large rigs are often driving in or out of the campground.
Garbage
Please deposit your garbage in the trash dumpsters. (See location of dumpsters on park map.)
Smoking
Extinguish your cigarette before entering any building at the Camp. There is no smoking allowed in any of the cabins.
Tenters
If you plan to stay more than three days, it will be necessary to move your tent to another location to keep the grass from smothering.
Pets
Your pet is welcome at Anderson Camp! Please keep your pet on a leash at all times. Pets must not be left outdoors, whether in a kennel or tied up, when the owner is away or after 10pm.
Walk your pet in the designated pet walk area. All pet waste must be picked up IMMEDIATELY and disposed of in a securely tied plastic bag in the garbage dumpster. Dog waste transmits disease.
Pets should be kept out of the laundry room, public restrooms, store, and snack areas.
Restrooms
Please help us maintain our clean restroom facilities by doing your part. Do not leave trash or garbage in the restrooms. Do not wash dishes or pets in the restrooms.
Swimming
If you are staying more than one day, pick up a new wristband at the office.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older.
Internet/TV
Internet Access
Wireless access is available for free for overnight visitors.
Television
We receive many broadcast stations (including all the majors) in digital format; there are also some local stations that broadcast in analog format. Your digital TV or converter box should have no trouble picking up good signals.
If you are traveling with satellite capability, our location is listed on the campground map. Feel free to ask the office if you have any questions.
Games/Fun Park
Games
Anderson Camp offers plentiful grassy areas for recreational play. Feel free to set up your lawn games to further enjoy your stay.
Fun Park
Miniature golf, waterslide, pools, and snack stand.
Anderson Camp’s fun park is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Separate fee required. Please obtain your wristband at the office, then pick up your putter and golf ball at the snack stand near the waterslide.
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the fun park.
